Yeah I sold my 220,000 mile ‘99 V6 coupe for $2k a few years ago. That’s at great deal at $4k

I had a 2000 Accord before I ever showed up here on Oppo. One of my favorite cars, and I loved it right up until the automatic transmission failed like so many others . Of course, that was on a V6 model.

Yeah,  I get a mechanic to look it over, as it’s four years older than my current car. But it has 140,000 fewer miles. I like mid ‘00 year cars. New enough to be relatively safe, reliable and comfortable, but not so complex you can’t fix the easy stuff yourself.

Yeah, I’m not even looking at V-6 cars, as MPG’s is a major selling point for me. And V-6 Accords of that generation, would be a no go for me too.

Unfortunately, this was not the pinnacle of German car durability, but Camcords from that era seem to be tanks.
