It’s beautiful. Specced just like my old work Ranger, which I miss dearly. Damn thing was easier to maneuver than a Miata. And the bed felt more spacious and usable than modern full-size trucks, because of how easy it was to just reach over the side and grab things. Anyone want to spare me.... Oh, I donno. $10k? That’s probably what one of these in solid condition would go for around here :(
Bonus Excursio n! I don’t see these often.

My girlfriend was very confused why I found this sign so entertaining in Norway

There's certainly something to be said for a small no frills pickup truck. I like mine with just a tad more room though. My first gen S10 with the extended cab was just perfect to me. I never had use for the jump seats, but having the extra space behind the seats worked great.

Yeah, if I did it again I'd probably go for the extended cab for that very reason

Yeah the extended cab is nice. The seats back there were purged many years ago to make room for the amplifiers and sub enclosure, but I do use the created shelf to store stuff on shopping errands. Nice to have the space back there.

Wheels are kind of posh, it might have AC.
Back around 2004 or so, a friend’s dad was still DDing a Chevy Luv he bought new (!). He finally decided to move into the 20th century, and replaced it - with the barest bones Ranger he could find - stick, steelies, I think it lacked carpet, etc. Refrigerator white, of course. As far as I know, he still has the Ranger.

Prefect suburban daily (if your commute is less than 35mi a day). Power (3.5 EB), comfort, capacity (1750 payload, 11700 towing). Love this beast.

It’s either an XL or an XLT, so it almost certainly has air. Chrome bumpers and wheels are part of an appearance group, about a $1000 option back then. The CHMSL with cargo lights and sliding window are also optional. ‘05 or ‘06 MY.
Rangers are great for doing truck stuff, but the harsh ride gets old after 15 years or so.
