!!! UNKNOWN HEADER TYPE (MULTI-LINE BREAK?) !!!
It all started because I wanted to move some stuff out of the “main garage” before I pulled the Jag in for some much needed work.
But then I started working on the workshop (3rd bay behind the main garage).
Now it is two days later. I’ve filled four 55 gallon trash cans, put a bunch of stuff on Craigslist, and am pretty over this.
:sigh: Post pictures of French cars to make me forget that time I spilled 8 quarts of oil all over the back corner.
About 6 hours in. Only going to get worse before it gets better...
[UPDATE @ 8:16] Getting there!
End of day 2
[UPDATE 2 - 1:46PM 11/19/19]
This is going to be... good enough.

I always like these photos; peeking into other people’s garages to see if they’ve got anything interesting or see how they do things.
Nothing too interesting here except... the two long rectangular structures running the length of the floor
?? You don’t drive on them to use as a lift, do you?!

Are the wheels mounted on the wall just artwork? I feel like those could be rather practical for coiling cable/wiring of some sort. Also, doesnt look messy at all really, you can still see parts of the floor! I think you could use more shelving, there is definitely room for it. And then fill up said shelves in an organized fashion and it will be good to go.

Hey buddy.
I actually moved in this year. Finally starting to get a handle on it
How did I move IN with trash?

I do indeed! I thought I’d posted about them on oppo before, but apparently it was in a comment. TL;DR is yes. They are quite sturdy. Each one is made of three 2x12s and a bunch of 4x4 spacers. Photo from when we constructed them.

Not art, just haphazardly screwed to the wall. I agree more shelves would help, but organizing the stuff in here would help... more. Also planning on tearing it down next year , so I’m not sure how much effort I want to put in.

Very c
lever! I’d be too freaked out about falling off
. 2x’s used to make a lip would help. You’d only need them on one side of each “
ramp”. Evidently you have no such fear though
.

Haha it is a fear, but a calculated risk to make them easier to use. We watch super carefully pulling on/off.

We moved over two years ago, and it’s still a mess.
Now slowly moving things into my new, and very clean, shop. Need to dedicate a weekend to getting the rest moved and a deep clean of the attached garage.
