i had always wanted to cover my aftermarket seat to match the OEM seats in my car
but after searching I simply could not find a source for a matching fabric. but then I thought “hey monkee, the seats have the fabric!” and I had some spares
i have an extras rear seat, and these cushions from the aftermarket seat seem to align (somewhat)
the seat itself, for reference, these blue hexagons are nice, so I think i will attempt to retain them as an option, perhaps make a second set of cushions
so I tore that spare OEM seat apart, I hate hogrings. and rusty ones are the worst
by necessity they are deep in the foam, and pulled tight, which is finicky work. but halfway through the tear down I realised I didnt need the foam, so I just tore it all apart “to shreds you say”
i was able to take enough fabric off to cover the bottom cushions well
but I have reached out to my local honda community to find another seat to rip apart
just sitting in place for now, but should give some idea

This is pretty damned funny if I’m honest. Your post should have mid-double digit replies full of congratulations and awe.
