ITZ HERE!!
Also, almost got rear ended twice by the same Tesla within three minutes coming to a stop at two stop signs. I’ve no idea if it was automatic braking, distraction, or incompetence, it veered to the left abruptly both times and I think curbed on the second. And there was ample time and distance to come to a gentle halt on both occasions.
Either Skynet is trying to kill me or my Mustang, or Tesla’s don’t know how to snow.

Tesla driver was probably overconfident in the car’s ability, much like an AWD SUV owner.

Glad you weren’t a victim of Skynet!
Possible light
flurries here in the DC area this week. I’m surprised they haven’t closed schools yet, LOL.
Get to test out my IceGuard’s this week, yea.

$10 says the Tesla was on low-rolling-resistance hockey pucks.

I bet the tesla was on auto pilot and worn out z rated summer tires.
I saw two BMW SUV’s last week on z rated summer tires. I don’t care how heavy your SUV is, it ain’t gonna stop...

automatic braking, distraction, or incompetence
Conceivably all three. A driver incompetent enough to trust 100% to the automatic braking, leading to becoming distracted.

Were they the X#M SUVs? Why would any SUV need such tires anyways?

I hope he bent a rim.

I've lost count how many times I've argued with people online how their AWD only helps to get them GOING and does nothing to help them STOP.

X5 and an X6M. Both were on Michelin Pilots. Last winter I nearly gotten taken out by a Porsche Cayenne Turbo on 40 series perellies.

I might be wrong in my thought process, no t that anyone wants to get hit by a car, but that sounds like an expensive payback check if something like that hits you.
Either way, Darwin will have his day.

We are supposed to get down to 31 in Houston tomorrow night. If there is ANY sign of precipitation or leftover moisture on the road H-Town will shut down.
