I get that trucks have made a big swing in the classic car market but this is a 92 not 62.

Close to $30k for 4k miles seems stupid high for this. Maybe if it was a 454 SS $20k? But this doesn’t even have the 5.7l. It’s a 5.0l

And at that price just get a year or two old  used one

It’s in great shape, but they’re out of their goddamn minds.

‘92 is classic now. And that’s the market for a car with 4300 miles. Time marches on (I find this frightening)

I love the “How This Price Compares” chart. I think the 2 is the extra digit here.

Speaking of preservation pieces from that era, this popped up recently, but priced closer to reality:

The buyer for this truck likely already has a 70k top of the line new truck and wants a clean old one to putz around in and reminisce.  I wouldn’t be surprised if they can get 23k for it.

Thats still crazy to me. It’s not anything special. Just a long bed k1500, not even a  flare side which is highly sought after by old folks

I have a 96 k1500 ext and the dash alone is worth the upgrade to anything after 1995.

I get that one though, f250 with one of the early Power S trokes. (at least it looks like it’s a Stroke) and anything diesel now is stupid priced

But a sb V8 regular cab? That’s a dime a dozen.

Looks crazy good but yeah i couldn't fathom 30k with taxes on a 92 regular cab

Yeah a flareside would be awesome and demand that price a little easier. Looking at Hemmings they have a bunch of 454ss in the 20-30k range. And this one with 12 miles!

Y eah that makes more sense at $9 k . It is stupid clean but it’s a regular cab sb v8. Those are everywhere.

The Taurus makes sense, e ven at 29k miles it’s still brand new. And I could see 5k for someone who wants to go back it time but not much more

Y eah this one with 47k is still mint and $2 2k. That I get. Very rare for GM to do something like that.

75k for 12 miles? Just because you bought it and never drove it doesn’t mean you can ask what you want...

Even as a 454SS I think this money would be tough.  It’s a cool time warp car, but not a significant car.

I’d want to be closer to 3-4K for the Taurus, for the head gasket or transmission that the cars were known for, depending on engine.
