I need to find a factory Volvo wheel (a Zeus 16x7" 17 spoke) . I got a set and I did a dumb, I wasn’t very thorough in inspecting them when I picked them up, and discovered that one is bent. The seller was moving so lord knows where they are now so I basically have no recourse there. I’ve looked into getting it straightned but that’s pricey, like almost as much as what the whole set of wheels cost me. I found some online wheel shops that have new OEM or refurbished wheels that are, again, more than what I have tied up in the whole set. I’m also planning to plastidip them so they don’t need to be perfect, just not bent.

I’ve checked eBay, Craigslist, FB Marketplace, etc. and no luck on this style of wheel. I found an online junkyard through car-part.com that has the wheel I want for $50 (plus shipping) but I’ve called and e-mailed and can’t seem to actually get ahold of anyone to actually purchase said wheel.

Does Oppo have any other suggestions for places I should look for this wheel?

car-part.com  has worked for me in the past, try another junkyard if the one you’re calling isn’t answering.

Tried it - first off, my wheel doesn’t seem to exist in their list of possible wheels (16x7" 17 spoke) and then when I started mashing random buttons I ended up finding  one instance of that wheel, but nobody at the junkyard will answer the phone/email.

I searched for a 2003 Volvo 70 series as there’s not a C70-specific option and the Zeus wheel apparently came on the C70 . There was an option to choose a 17 spoke wheel. But in the results there were options from an S60 which appears to be a slightly different 17 spoke wheel with a totally flat face and not a lip like the Zeus. There are other listings that came off a C70 and those don’t have pictures.

Unless of course that’s the one place you already found.

Cheapest place I found them in a quick search was here:

https://volvowheel.com/products/volvo-16x7-zeus-alloy-rim-wheel-8682242-from-c70-convertible-03-04-8682242

No idea if that site is any good though, and of course it’s a lot more than your junkyard wheel.

This is a little crazy...

You are right, the Zeus was on the C70, I’ve seen the same link you mentioned above, and based on that and other info I’ve found the Zeus wheel was originally found on 03 & 04 cars.

When I search car-part for a 20 03 or 20 04 70 series I do not see an option for a 16x7 17 spoke wheel. I’ve tried with and w/o picture and I just don’t see that anywhere in the list that comes up. I tried searching for a 16x6.5" wheel (6 or 7 spokes, I don’t remember) and got a bunch of C60 wheel options, and then one C70 wheel that’s exactly the one I want - they have a picture of the whole car, a C70 convertible, with the wheels.

I decided to try something else and searched for an 02 70 series and guess what? I see a 16x7 17 spoke wheel now in the list! And there’s a junkyard in Topeka that has 3 of them!

Is there a part number somewhere on the wheel? Try locating one somewhere near the slots for the lugs.
