But if it disappears, be it tonight or a week or a year form now, I just want to say that you miserable bastards and this goofy ass site have literally shaped my life. I’ve been posting on here since 2013 and lurking since it was called offtopic, and it would really be a shame to see it go. I’ve made actual real life friends here, gotten life advice here, discovered what are now my favorite genres of music here, bought cars based on the recommendations of people here , even sold that piece of shit Nissan to someone on here. I would never have gotten my old job at CCC if it weren’t for Oppo, I probably wouldn’t have gotten into motorcycles if it weren’t for Oppo, and I definitely wouldn’t have had the interesting vehicular history I’ve been blessed with if it weren’t for Oppo.

Basically what I’m trying to say is, if Oppo didn’t exist I’d have a lot more money. So fuck all of you.

If Oppo didn't exist, I'd have never been to Portland, have a ton less miles on the Fiesta and life would be a lot less boring

And you know what? I probably wouldn’t have bought the E90 without Oppo’s influence, or the Galant VR-4 before it. The experiences and encouragement from people here gave me the courage to buy a crappy old Mitsubishi, and that car is what hooked me on AWD which is why I chose the e90 over the Beetle Turbo I as considering.

It really really was... when it was running.

I regularly kick myself for selling it. Then I remember that my I have 1 car I could drive to Florida without hesitation, and an other  project car that doesn’t run, but still makes me smile every time I see it,

Without Oppo I'd be a significantly worse person, and I would have never been caught in a Vette. There are other things I'd not have without it too, so this sucks.
