Yet another computer added to the collection. Originally priced at $200, it was marked down to $20 because someone wiped the hard drive. I tested the drive and there was nothing wrong with it. The Windows key is in the BIOS and you can easily download the installation files from MS, so in just a couple of hours I have a decent little machine I can trade or sell. Yeah, it’s a basic 5-cor e AMD, nothing special, but the price was right.

heh. I remember the first laptop I was issued at work was a Toshiba with a 400 MHz Celeron.

So speedy. The first one I was issued had a clock speed that could be measured in two digits. At least it had an active-matrix color screen, since this was in the days when you could still get monochrome or passive-matrix if you didn’t spring for the good stuff. I did love working in the defence industry in the boom times in the ‘90s - lots of money for nice toys.

Lucky! I buy and resell computers (or am given broken ones I fix and resell) sometimes. That is a heck of a deal! You can prob resell it for $200 or a little less, I’d imagine! Definitely easy profit!
