For whatever reason I always feel the need to shave my beard off in the fall. Kept the stache attached this time. My wife is out photographing a wedding, and should be real pleased when she sees this...not.
Should inspire me to drink less whiskey and get more cardio in as my jaw is looking much less chiseled than in my youth.

Say it’s for Movember. Raise a few bucks for cancer. Do it for those of us who can’t grow a mustache .

I have accidentally done that. Wasn't a good two weeks.

I live in a coyote den out in the desert and didn’t know that was a thing. That’s the reason I’ll give my wife when she why the hell I did this. I’ll see if I can get people to give me money for my stache.

I don’t know, I’m really feeling it. Might keep it around for a bit.

I’ve worn stubble for most of my shaving life (had my first goatee in eighth grade). I’ve been blessed with mediterranean skin which stays nice and comfy regardless of hair growth.
Just did a charcoal mask to bring the freshly exposed skin up to speed.

I had to take the sheep shears to my face just last weekend, myself. Once my beard gets past a certain length, it becomes resistant to trimming and I have to pull a slash and burn. I cut it down to a mustache and goatee, but in a couple weeks I’ll be looking like a caveman again.
I can’t do just the mustache, though. I look too weird. My dad can, but even though I look a lot like him I can't pull it off.

The only facial hair that remains black is my mustache (and, thankfully, my eyebrows), and a line down each cheek. The rest has settled on grey, like most of my head.
Going grey in your 20s really seems to confuse people, I’ve found. I’ve done the mustache thing for fun when I raze the beard, and, hoo boy. Not a thing for me. I sorta envy people who can pull it off, but I also wonder: what the fuck? Who would have a mustache? Also, why?

I’d rather go grey than bald in 20's.
I guess my time with longer facial hair started out in apprenticeship where I didn’t want to be confused for a teenager. Now it has stuck out of laziness and no real reason to go back to stubble look.

I’ll fix your sink, Miss Romano. And by that I mean I’ll have sex with you. And by that, I mean I’ll fix your sink. And by sink, I mean your reproductive organ. And by reproductive organ, I mean the thing between your knees. And by the thing between your knees, well, I guess that one’s kind of self-explanatory.

I did that once...I was probably about your age too. I laughed uproariously...and quickly cut it off. Six weeks later I got sick of shaving every day...
I don’t think I’ve seen my chin since 2006...

Very true. With 2 bald grandfathers and a balding father, I fully expected to be bald by 30. Thankfully, I still have it.

You’ve just learned the reason that I keep hair on my chin - you suddenly look 30 pounds heavier when your chin is exposed now that I’m not a fit 180# anymore.
I cannot adequately grow a full beard so goatee it is for me. It’s funny, the hair on the top of my head grows fast (shoulder length) but on the rest of my body its thin and blond so it looks like it is barely there. It takes me months to grow back a full covering on my chin hair and mustache while the rest of my face just looks patchy as hell.
