Still unusually warm today, capping off a warm week in the high 80s (or high 20s for Svend) . I will enjoy every last drop of this weather as the week before was unusually cold and got me all irritable.

When this car came out, I was not on board with the new direction Jaguar took. Now, I think it’s grown on me really well. I especially like the tail.

I was the opposite. I really liked it when it first came out but now I just see it as the death of the traditional Jag. I still like the design compared to most sedans though, just doesn’t look like a Jaguar.

It is dramatically different from what we traditionally thought of as a Jag.

Would you recommend an XE or an E-Pace in a higher trim level used or CPO?

I would recommend the facelifted XE, which means if you’re in the US, you will need to wait 2-ish years for CPO cars to hit the dealers. Since the E-pace just came out this year, the facelift will be a while out.
The E-pace and the pre-facelift XE will disappoint if compared to the 2020+ XE interior.
If you don’t mind the older interiors, the XE is a nice sporty alternative to the 3 series.

A vestige of the classic Jag roofline , although deeply hidden within a coupé-like profile, can still be seen here. Kind of.
