Despite my best efforts to work out a deal in advance via email, I show up to finalize and am told that they don’t have the car on site, and now they are taking forever to finalize the buyers sheet . . . When I surprised them with a loyalty coupon and also insisted that they type in the added accessories.
Just imagine if I hadn't done all of the advance work. I am at least getting what should be a very good deal in the end. *Counts chickens before they hatch*

No one would fault you for burning down a dealership

So I hang out in /r/askcarsales a lot and I get to see the opposite side of the coin.
What I see is that there are liars on both sides, and it would be great if each person had a visible “lie score.”
Sounds B lack M irrorish but holy shit the amount of bullshit that people tend to sling is insane. I don’t blame you for feeling that way, we’ve all got the jerk around from dealers too.

Actually, they are being really good, other than not being clear that the car hasn’t arrived yet. I take half the responsibility for communication issues. I just feel so paranoid about it so when they had computer issues I thought they were missing with me.
I’m sure that they deal with plenty of garbage from customers. I made them work hard, but have been 100% honest.

You know, I think in the light of how things usually go 100% honest is the best we can hope for, Cheers. I hate when communications break down for legit reasons, it’s so frustrating
