So I’m working all weekend long and in Cincinnati. So not only do I have to work, I have to travel to do and it’s supposed to rain all day tomorrow.
On a surprise note, the Cinci airport was nicer than expected and had these two old Cros ley cars right next to my baggage claim.
Im also in what is quite possibly the shittiest cab I’ve ever been in at the moment. The back seat has lots of exposed foam and the trunk was dented metal and rust like it had been rear ended a couple times.
Wish me luck this weekend. You may see a few shit posts from me due to boredom at being away from home.

I saw a Crosley wagon last weekend. I think it was the first time I saw one irl not at a car show.

Ooh an old German area, that does look like fun. Thanks for the recommendation.

You should also try Skyline Chili, if for no other reason than to say you’ve had it. You don’t have to love it, but it is a regional favorite.

That’s what has been told to me but I'm not particularly excited about it.

Contrary to popular internet opinion, Cincinnati style c hili isn’t the horrid meal everyone says it is.
Think of it more as a Greek bolongese sauce. It’s savory with a more delicate flavor pallete than traditional American chili. They do offer habenaro sauce at the table should you want some heat.

Fun fact - Crosley had America's first all-steel station wagon. And first postwar sports car.

Don’t listen to anyone, skyline is as bad as people think.
OTR is a good suggestion, but if you want any ideas on anything you’d want to do I live here as well.
If you’re into craft beer there are plenty microbreweries.
Where about are you staying?

First all steel station wagon? It feels like a company started in 1939 is late for that.

Nope, everyone else used at least some structural wood. The first all steel wagon from a major manufacturer was Plymouth in 1949.
Unless you count Jeeps and Suburbans , but FCA and GM would really prefer it if you didn’t call those station wagons.

I’d definitely count the Willy’s wagon as a station wagon.
I’m no expert on cars this old, it’s an i nteresting fact to know now though.

The Crosley club should probably add a “*passenger car” qualifier to that claim from now on. But, hey, still the first American car with disc brakes, nobody’s taking that away.
