This is awesome. I want the marching band to do this at the next home game. I mean, this doesn’t strike me an any more objectionable than the fact they still continue to play Rock and Roll, P art 2.

Actually, on my way out the door to a gig. A much more genteel affair, though, our group is playing for the opening ceremony of an LPGA tournament at Barton Creek CC. If you’re wondering where all of the water is going in Austin, look o further than Barton Creek. That place is greener than Ireland.

I can’t get over the vocals on this. She absolutely owned this song, this is unreal! And the horns work magnificently, and dude on the guitar came in on the end with some of Tom Morello’s signature wacky guitar noises. That was the only thing that was missing for me, and they came through and delivered! Awesome cover!!!

I think I found my new YouTube rabbit hole to go down...

I’m to the point where I like Brass Against better than the originals.

She is extraordinary. Some of the band personnel change from video to video, but the core of bari sax and guitar remain. I love this whole concept.

I watched their cover of Tool’s The Pot, and the musicianship was on point, but her vocals left a bit to be desired at first. But as the song progressed , she pulled it together and but it up . They really all are excellent!!!

It also shows that th ey are really taking the time to get the arrangements just right. Every instrument shines and yet it still feels cohesive. Usually when I think of brass doing rock Im thinking either high school marching band or shitty ska cover. This is neither, it feels like a balanced, polished, finished product.
