A few months ago, I asked the wonderful people of Oppositelock if I was going about the right way !!!error: Indecipherable SUB-paragraph formatting!!! .

!!! UNKNOWN CONTENT TYPE !!!

At the time, I was using the online store as a sort of “Stock photography” site where you could buy a download and then make prints yourself. There were a few issues with this though.

Firstly, the interface was confusing because clicking on an item in the store didn’t take you to the item page, but instead, it would take you to the attachment page. You would have had to use the “quick view” option to look at the item and pricing options.

Then, there was the whole methodology. Thanks to some great feedback, I realized that it was more tedious to buy a download than it was to set up a way to make prints straight from the website. By default, the plugin I’m using allows you to sell just downloads. But, with a yearly license, I could add extensions to the existing plugin like the ability to purchase prints.

So, I’m happy to say that I’ve finally applied all the feedback I got to the !!!error: Indecipherable SUB-paragraph formatting!!! ! Here is a list of changes:

You can now purchase prints! Instead of purchasing a download, by default you can choose a photo and then choose a size. You can even apply discount codes! (More on this in a bit)

Clicking on a store item doesn’t take you to the attachment page anymore. Instead, it takes you to a separate page with details about the store item, including size, relevant tags, and other information. Quick View is also still available.

Now, the store has discount codes! You now have the option to apply a discount code to your entire purchase! I created a discount code just for Oppositelock! For this week only, you can get 25% off your purchase by using the code “ 0PP0 " at checkout!

Now that the store is at a state where I’m satisfied, I’d like any feedback you guys could give me! And, if you decide to buy a print I’d greatly appreciate it! Be sure to check out the new gallery for the !!!error: Indecipherable SUB-paragraph formatting!!! !
