It is a rare spotting, v ery few of them actually make it to the road. Most end up as the perpetual project car half finished in the garage.

Most are LS powered, but I saw a Coyote powered one with tons of high-end racing hardware. I wouldn’t mind having one built. There is a few shops that will do a complete build on the SLC for street or track, so it doesn’t sit in your garage taking a decade to complete.
There is a pretty good forum section just on the SLC on the Superformance/GT-40 site forum site that details a few builds.

There is one running around metro Detroit with an M5 V10 in the back. Very cool car.
