When I was in college, I bid for and won a flight in a small plane at a charity auction. I had a great time for the first 20 minutes or so, then we dropped several feet in an air pocket(?) and I left my stomach behind.
It did my best not to vomit for the next 20 minutes as we returned to earth at my insistence. I was miserable.
Very glad I didn’t go into the C oast G uard or N avy or Air Force or really anything involving less-than-solid ground.

We did a couple of stall and spin recoveries which are a bit of a lurch. I can see how it doesn’t suit everyone!
