Tomorrow I go to the insurance adjuster. Hopefully it doesn’t get totaled, I love this car. At least I’ll hopefully be able to negotiate with him if he wants to total it. If all goes well, I’ll be getting the insurance money tomorrow and have my G fixed in 2 weeks and she’ll be better than before. This means an upgrade to the S model bumper:
VS
Then I’ll probably upgrade my wheels and tires, as they’re pretty beat after 184k miles. I’ve got my eye on AVID.1 AV-06s.
I’m still trying to decide on color though:
Black is too generic, gold is too bright, and white is too difficult to keep clean. Bronze looks really good, but I’m worried with how it will age and how it will looks with the red. Hyper looks excellent and that’s what I’m leaning towards, but I haven’t totally made up my mind. I’d be getting these in 18x9.5, wrapped in 245/40/18 performance tires.
From there, I’m looking at Megan lowering springs, which looks like the perfect amount of low
Hopefully everything with insurance works out, so I can continue with my dreams of being a ricer.

“so I can continue with my dreams of being a ricer.”
And here I was thinking my dream of owning a 2004 Ranger with 250k miles was a low bar.

If you go 18x9.5, 265mm would fit better. Hell 265's although “over sized” were visually square on a 18x8.5

I’m not sure we have a ricer on Oppo, so I’m just trying to fill that vacancy so nobody else has to.
And Rangers are good trucks, pursue your dreams!

I’m basing my fitments off this: https://www.fitmentindustries.com/wheel-offset-gallery/795321/2011-infiniti-g37-avid1-av6-eibach
It’s the same wheels, same size tires as I quoted, doesn’t rub, and has the right amount of meatiness. 265s won’t fit on the G37x without modifications too, my goal is as close to bolt on and go as possible.

Thats alllll backwards, you make the car/rim fit the desired tire not the other way around

I’m also balling on a budget and want to be able to easily reverse the mods, if necessary. Plus it’s on 225s right now, so an extra 20mm is pretty substantial. However, I’m going for the 9.5 wheels so that I have the opportunity to make them meatier once I eventually get coilovers, etc. If I end up not liking it as well, the tires I’m getting a pretty cheap, so it’s in the realm of possibility of replacing sooner than later. But I’d rather start conservative, then go from there

Dial in 25 degrees of negative camber and you’ll be good to go!
Sucks about your luck on accidents

Thanks. Ricers gotta represent!
I like the direction you’re heading, hopefully it’s not totaled.
Looks like you’re going in the direction of "OEM+ ” which is what I've generally been going for too

that’s the general goal, yes. Eventually I’ll coax some more power from the engine with some basics mods, but the goal is to have a DD that’s my own, not just something anyone could buy. Eventual goal is around 380 hp at the crank, I think it’s pretty feasible since it’s at 328 stock.
