I’m sick in bed this morning and that article is just too much for me. Both my dogs died from cancer within the last couple of years. They were old, so I didn’t opt for surgery. Just pampered them and fed them steak dinners every night until it was time. Got to take Brutus with us on a fancy staycation in Paradise Valley (Arizona version of Beverly Hills). People watching me carry and old, blind pitbull around a fancy resort was pretty entertaining. Friends of mine commissioned a painting of me cuddling with my pup, Lola, the night before we put her down. I swear to god I still hear both of them snorting and sniffing around my house.
