That looks like the temp display from a mid 2000s Mopar, possibly a Jeep?

Best car ever. But I have a problem in the engine with maybe a sticky valve. Throws a misfire code and idles rough periodically.

Random codes are the worst. How’s the compression test for that (those) cylinder(s)?

Well, it’s not really random, just intermittent. It develops this poopy idle and throws a flashing CEL, then with any luck, goes away. It’s been popping up now and again for years. I have a pal who owns a shop and who is a crack diagnostician who has a couple of tests for us to run. Misfire No. 3 cylinder... Has new injector set...

How are the wires and spark gap for that cylinder? Does the beast burn much oil, that plug might be fouling?

Oil use is good and plugs are not fouling.
