I know lots of you own cool classic cars and I wanna see ‘em! I’ll be a stickler and say pre-1980 or carbureted ones only. Side note: How many people here own 2nd-gen Firebirds? Feels like I see them all the time here. And I love it. I want one too.

“ Pre-1980 or carburet ed” works for me!
‘85 RX7 (last year for a carb!) as you’ve seen :
‘71 Chevelle (currently in many pieces)

I love both of em.

Cool! I like the 80/81 front ends.

The 96 continues to be taken apart. I’ve got the whole front end in pieces to replace all the bushings and balljoints.
The 95 is on the road, but I’ll need to take it off the road soon to service the CVs, since the driver’s side has been making some noise around tight turns.

It’s the automotive equivalent of a mullet, and I love it. ‘79 AND carbureted, thank you.

Not originally Carbed but it is now. It’s an 84 But the model started production is 79.

What about pre-’80, but not carburated? '71 F100 but with a '98 Mustang engine

My Renault 17TL Découvrable
Bought her recently, and need to fix her up after sitting for a good few years. Appears to be solid though, which is rare as these tend to rust a lot. As it’s (sort of) a convertible, and it has low power (about 90 hp) and an auto, it will probably become my boulevard cruiser.

Yay! My FIAT 126p will be able to be included in this category when I finally have the life situation sorted out to I can import one! :P
I do have the money saved up for it already at least...how goes work on the Mach 12? :D

I love those old Saabs...so glad you drive the 95 on a regular basis as well!

Well, they’re my grandfather’s, but ‘67 Chevelle and ‘68 Camaro.

We still need more updates on this gorgeous thing...

Wow, that must be super-duper extra slow with an auto
! :P
I didn’t even know they HAD an auto as an option!!!
Do you at least have a few engine tweaks to free up a few more German horsies to compensate? :D

I’m still looking for a proper storage spot where I can work on it. Turns out buying a non-road worth classic when living in an apartment in a city is not the smartest thing...
It’s moving to a temporary spot within the coming weeks though.
![]() 10/13/2019 at 12:48 |

Maybe not the smartest thing, BUT, I have it on good authority that it does raise your coolness factory by at least 1000 Oppopoints!

No, it's just the stock 2.0 with fuel injection

I need a new motor and rear end and hopefully I’ll be able to do the same... Currently I can only move away from a stop at a reasonable speed, and that’s no fun at all. The El Camino is a whole other animal, however. I have to be careful not to chirp the tires every time I leave a stop sign.

That car is really clean. Did you do the bed paint yourself, or have it done?

Pre-’80 and carbe d
‘89, wouldn’t really call it classic, but it’s carbed

I hope that a classic Jeep is acceptable.
Enjoy a rare sighting of her ( mostly) clean and actually running (mostly) properly.

Very cool little cars. There’s a 17 Gordini that shows up to our local Cars & Coffee every so often. No idea how one has survived in the states for that long.

1970 Datsun 240z. They call it a series one because they only made about 17,000 of them the first year and most of the parts are from earlier datsuns like the 510 and GT-R so finding a rear wheel cyclinder that has the brake hose connection in the same spot is difficult, or a brake master cylinder with the f/r reservoirs swapped around, etc...

A small luxury coupe from the 70s with a roll-back canvas roof. On the other hand , it has the aluminium 1.6 out of a Alpine A110 (sort of), but on the wrong end of the car (it’s longitudinal FWD)
