There’s a 1961 Fiat Bianchina convert for sale on BAT. Being a huge fan of the Pink Panther movies, I half-seriously told myself if I ever found one of these cars for a reasonable price I’d buy it. Maybe the seller will throw in a gorilla suit just because?

***It’s an Autobianchi Bianchina! Autobianchi was a separate brand, but a subsidiary of FIAT and the Bianchina use FIAT 500 mechanicals! :D
Parts would be super easy to get online for it, mechanically as most FIAT 500 parts would just swap on and even later FIAT 126 parts would fit in some cases.
It would likely be a crash gearbox with no synchros being a 1961 though, so keep that in mind! A as a fan of 2-cylinder small cars from FIAT...

...another note, that one would be a ‘Cabriolet D’ if build in ‘62. :)
Also, it wouldn’t be original, of course, but a fun fact is that a later 652cc FIAT 126 engine and transmission with 24hp, more torque and a synchronzied transmission would be pretty much a direct drop-in, bolt-in swap to the Bianchina by changing just the rear engine mount.
