And when the Colorado goes under... there’ll be no return.
New D-Max is launching in a fortnight...and the next BT-50 comes off that. New Renault/Nissan/Mitsubishi in 2021 along with Hyundai Group and then the Ford/VW collaboration....and somewhere in there there’s Toyota as well. Holden is in real trouble unless they telegraph a real option to all these...soon

It will be a kindness when GM calls time on Holden. Sadly though they won’t own their contribution as to why Holden is where it is...

What the heck does Mitsubishi sell is Australia? They have like tw o shitty SUV’s in the US, I think they sell about 3 cars a month in the US, all to rental car agencies.

Triton ute is third highest selling ute in the country and a regular top ten monthly seller. The ASX is also popular especially with hire fleets and during sales events.

Mitsubishi of Australia is somewhat of a heritage automaker there, having built cars locally from 1980 to 2008 after taking over Chrysler’s Australia operations, so they have some history and goodwill. They sell many Triton pickups, Pajeros, and Pajero Sport SUVs, and the Outlander Sport sells to rental agencies.
That’s contrasted to North America, where Mitsubishi only began in 1981 in the U.S., and 2003(!) in Canada, and has much less of a reputation.
