Oh my, these are less than 30 minutes from home for me. I wonder how bad they’d be inside if they’ve basically been stripped already.

It’s all academic, while I have the $75, I don’t have the trailer or anywhere to drop them..

(Now I feel like I should be on the lookout driving to work, I’ve probably driven past them in the last year..)

Old RVS... Not even a scrap yard will take them

I think I know where they are. Given that one is missing the rear window and the other is missing the door I bet the interior is pretty nasty. I’m not sure what material they used for the flooring on these though so I’m not sure what shape the floors and interior walls may be in.

I’ve always liked these RVs myself, but I don’t have room either even if they could be saved.

I’m not sure either. If they’re at all salvageable and since he has the titles they would definitely be worth more.

I’d bet it’s just a case of wanting to get something for them or maybe hoping if someone pays even a small amount for them they’ll be more careful getting them out and do less damage to the property in the process.

Yeah, they could be thoroughly rusted or rotted out.  On a brighter note, if they're that exposed,  there may be less to cleanup from previous wildlife inhabitants..

He probably made the listing shortly after a scrapyard said they wouldn’t take them even if he payed them to come and get em.

I believe these had an aluminum body. If that’s true they’d definitely be worth more as scrap. It would just take someone with the space and time to tear one apart.

If the engines aren’t seized they would hold some value too.

I also bet that price isn’t firm. If (s)he has the cash, and you showed up with the trailer and tools to excavate them from the site that one could get 2 ancient ratted out RVs and $20 or $40..

My thoughts exactly. Some of the smaller, more redneck yards will accept them, but they would probably charge you $4-500 to take those two, the ones that take campers usually charge  by the ton to get rid of them.
