Track days then immediately went on work travel so I had some stuff to catch up on before going to events in the Audrain Concours and Motor Week tomorrow.

Track Pic

So what did I do? Oil change, swapped brake pads from track to new OEMs, converted my front caliper bolts to studs, bled the brakes, then gave it a quick svending. Also 3 other things that aren’t worth mentioning but were technically done to the car.

At one time quite recently I was all pumped just to swap my winter/summer wheel sets. Feels great! Still making some dumb mistakes but learning fast!

What did you do, o r will you do this weekend?

Such a beautiful blue.

Scottsdale is doing its monthly Cars and Coffee, I’ve been invited to a casual NSX drive to Tucson for shiggles (I may not make it) and I’m going to get some decent levels of sleep.

I’m going to try to fix a crack I have in a car camera “cornea” (not really a lens) with some liquid glass crack filler, if it comes in.

waiting for my rim tape to arrive so i can finally fix my bike.... riding the missusses bike to work is killing my knees (shes just a teensy tiny bit shorter than me)

so thats the weekend plan

Great cruising car? My 14' GT was and I imagine the boss is just turned up a bit more without being jarring right?

So there’s always this one guy with a stupid online handle name that shows up with a Corvette....

for bicycles... goes inside the rim keeps the spokes from poking holes in the tube

On the right road yes but I’m in Michigan so I’ve got to be selective in my road choices.

Nice work there. I’ve never done my own brakes. One day I’ll give it a try.

Wash and wax this weekend. Nothing special. Poke around tirerack  for a winter wheel and tire combo.

Nice. My old carbon wheels started to delaminate, so I bought some Mavic Cosmic  Pros. Pretty deep dish aluminum/carbon rims. Not light, but fairly aero.

I might have my car washed at a (“touchless” but not really?) drive-through car wash and that’s it. I’m really bad at actually doing car things.
