Doesn’t protect enough for hail, this would make more sense for sun, there’s a reason why covered parking is coveted in the south.

Anybody got a video of one of these things in operation? It looks like it opens more or less like a regular umbrella, but I’m struggling with the “full automatic” part and how it would secure those straps all by itself.
EDIT: Found one. Looks “mostly automatic” to me.

Yeah, British Car Day this year was on-and-off rain, so nearly very roadster had a tonneau (or soft top) in place, and most people left early.

I could actually use something like this. I park under an oak tree at home, and the top of my car is disgusting from the sap and shit that falls off that damned tree.
