Tearing into the old motor

So far it looks like shards of bearing, the rotating assembly dosent have any obvious damage. We will see once everything taken apart, at the moment only the sumps off.

Current guess is oil starvation.

That amount of ferrous metal on the plug doesn’t bode well for the rotating assembly as the bearing faces are usually non-magnetic.
