My wife’s c-max has the battery in the back. So not being able to open the hood didn’t matter.

I can apparently drop an engine but I can’t jump start a car. In my defense there are two little jump points up front which is why I thought I’d seen a battery up there. But still; stupid.

My MINI was like that. Battery in the back (only on the S, the supercharger took up all the room up front), but there were two terminals for jumping.
