Thankfully everyone survived. 18 year old Jeep driver seriously injured, truck driver had minor injuries. Texting? Fell asleep? Black ice? we don’t know yet

If he had lost traction, I would have expected the Jeep to veer to the right or start spinning . Probably driver error.

Yup his is one of those crashes you see in an action movie and the hero crawls out u scathed any way. I’m sure the kid didn’t crawl out on his own, but just being alive after that is amazing.

Sounds like he will die any second, but he also doesn’t sound so great:

That said, that’s still a better outcome than most head-on collisions with trucks, let alone ones that create massive fires.

To me, it looks like he was trying to pass the white vehicle in front of him, got blinded by the sun , then saw the truck a split second too late.

Yeah, he may or may not make it, or be ok if he does. But the fact that they weren't pulling out pieces to be identified by next of kin is amazing.

Exactly. With the exception of mechanical failure, this would I'M HOME be the only logical explanation. Otherwise, I would dare say it was intentional, which would be horribly selfish to endanger someone else's life.
