Just filled up today and my mpg was a whopping 17. I’ve even “tried” driving more efficiently (AKA turning off “PWR” mode) and still managed to only get about 17.5 mpg. :(
That 22 mpg has only happened one time, when I was doing straight highway driving.
Thank god it doesn’t run on premium gas.

Yeah with running regular, that is cheap!! I can get 20-22mpg in my STi pretty regularly but it runs on premium and in California, that has only just gotten below $3.30 recently with the low prices right now. Not complaining though, if I stay above 20 I'm happy.

Shit, I get 21-22 in my Durango driving 80+ mph
Is this the Camry?
But I'm starting to get to the point where I'm like, maybe I should get something more fuel efficient for my 600 mile weekly commute....but I love my Durango though

You should buy a Fiat 500X. Great values, practical size, the FCA theme of the Durango, and Fiat is almost a dead brand here in America anyways.

that is rough... plugs and an airfilter maybe?

Yeah, air filter is good, but it could definitely use spark plugs (I think it’s still on the original set)
This car honestly needs a lot of mechanical work though, so spark plugs are the least of my concerns.

oh god, guess I have nothing to complain about then, haha. Totally forgot just how expensive gas is over there.

yea, this is the Camry. DAMN , my gas mileage really is terrible if your Durango is basically getting the same gas mileage as my Camry on the highway

I’ve had anywhere from 45 at most all the way down to a whopping 12. Figure that one out.

Shit my 94 Voyager does 18.5 mpg cruising at 82 mph. Drop it to 70 mph and I get 22 ish. Drive all 55-60 mph and I’ve cracked 27 mpg.
Usually average around 22 mpg in mixed driving. I figure it’s not bad for a 3.8L V6, in a brick, with a lift/ATs, and a brick of a roof basket on top.
I won’t tell you about the 32 mpg my car gets in mixed driving.....

Do you have the winter blended fuel where you live? That will cut 1- 3 mpg easy.

Huh! Yeah, that's not bad for a 94 Voyager. Would be nice if my Camry got 32mpg though.

It’s not the best for interstate driving, but it has worse aero than a cube van, and is rolling on oversized ATs, so I feel it does really well.
My car has a hopped up 3.0 V6, that has no issue averaging 32 mpg in mixed driving, but given I usually beat the hell out of it, I usually get around 26 mpg.

It was 45 mpg when I sat at 55 on my commute for a week, just to see what kind of economy I could get, and 12 when I was running super rich for some reason. Didn’t help that I kept the revs above 4k 90% of the time the car was on that tank.
