Good! If your’s happens to be written and not a video, I’ll read it. I guess I’m just old, because I can’t stand that YouTube videos are replacing writing. Yes, I know at work I should be working, but I’d much prefer a brief diversion by reading something rather than watching it.
I’m still annoyed that some of the folks I’ve loved reading here and on O&E have migrated to videos. I won’t watch them, maybe they get more clicks that way, though.

I concur. I would much rather read about a car than watch someone talk about it.

Right there with you. On a personal level I much prefer written content to videos, especially where the video is merely a narrative editorial.
On a “professional” (boy let’s use that term carefully ) level, doing something in a written, print format is kind of the whole opportunity for me . The landscape is saturated with people doing video work, but there’s just not nearly as much print media out there, and what writing is out there often happens to be poorly researched, blog-format stuff.
I’m still in the research stage on everything, but I need to start working on the print layout and I need a completed article for that, so maybe I’ll start trying to finish one full article a week to share since I guess I’m not the only one here who prefers the written word.
