Aaaaand my license expired!

It is the last minute of the 20th of January, which means my license is officially expired! What kind of angry god lets a license expire on a Sunday, who knows!

But now I have to go to the DMV (which somehow only opens between 9am and 3pm) because, aparently, you can’t renew your license until after it expires... so even if I had mine reprinted a few months ago, I need to go again and experience the bureocracy.

I need the following;
1. 45 dollars
2. National ID card
3. Proof of address (even though my ID car has it)

The most terryfing thing of all is that I don’t need prior education in order get a new license.

When I had it reprint I asked if I could renew it right there and they said that I couldn’t (even if I paid the same cost as a new license)

I think that I couldn’t get a new one because they probably use a 10 year old program to check which license is valid and which isn't, so if they issue a new license while the old one is still valid it like... looses it's shit I guess?

My license expires in 2051. I’ve had it since 2002.

They did make me get a new picture last year, whic h was great since I can grow a much better stache now.

In Missouri they make it expire on your birthday every 5 or 8 years.

It was meant to expire on my birthday, but I, erm, drove on an expired license for 24 days back when I was 18.
