Found this one on a FB memory, a buddy of mine had just gotten a Crapvalier so I had to rag on him a little bit.

I'll take the Cavi. They may be crappy, but they're freaking cockroaches!

You’re not wrong.

When I had my cavalier I used to say, “I can fix anything in this car with $60 (or less) in parts, basic hand tools, and 30 minutes of my own time”

Yeah, pretty much. My sister's first car was a brand new '03 that she paid $12k for out the door. She had the thing paid off before she graduated high school.

Cavalier: clogging every high school's parking lot since 1984.

And they still are. In the Midwest anyway.

A cavalier is a great way to promote abstinence for teenagers.

Hey- say what you want about the Cavalier, but they’re absolutely cars.

False, kids will do it anywhere.~ testimony from a man who did i t in a Cavalier once with a teenager. (I realize that may need more clarification. I was 21 she was 19.)

Yup. I like to describe cars like the Cavalier as “it is car” I said the same thing about the 2016 Corolla my brother’s wife just bought

I once owned a Sunbird. Can definitely confirm.

I had an ‘86 Chevy Celebrity with a carriage roof... If that won't stave off teenage hormones, nothing will.

Mine refused to die as much as I wanted it to. What finally did it in was my brother rear-ending a tank ( W140 S-class) . But even with half of the front end of the car and most of the fluids missing it still somehow limped home. At that point it just wasn’t worth repairing although I wouldn’t be surprised if most of it’s parts were picked from whatever junkyard it went to.

Every single car owned by anyone under the age of 25 in Canada is either a Cavalier or a Sunfire . Unless you’re a Chinese-born university student, then you have a Macan or something like a Huracan.
These are the facts.

Last time I drove to Maine I could not believe the number of Sunfires in Canada.

Mrs. BaconSandwich had one when we first met. Only reason we got rid of it is it had two doors, and was getting hard to get the kid’s car seat in/out.

Yeah, coupes and car seats don't work well together.
