Murrica!
Dodge Demon, Hennessy Exorcist and Mustang RTR Spec 3
That RTR Mustang looks great! Also had Jeremy doing the Senna track review. Next episode is a Colombia special.

I still think the Senna is one of the ugliest cars ever produced. But I want one.

I don’t like the way it looks but watch the review, it’s a supremely capable track weapon.

I thought it was a good episode, but of course I'm looking forward to the travel specials.

My daughter and I still need to finish season 2. We got off track and haven’t gotten back.

I like the changes to the format but the film wasn’t to my taste.. Okay but not great. There’s just not too much content out of driving three similar, reliable cars through civilisation.

Could be better. Challenges, one on one track reviews and specials in remote locations are more fun.

I thought the cinematography and editing was a step above the usual.

I just finished watching it, it was pretty good. I was surprised earlier to not see any posts here about it.

I really enjoyed it. Felt like classic Top Gear. Not necessarily like one of the great episodes like the Vietnam or Bolivia specials, but just a solid hour of three middle aged men fooling about in cars.

I enjoyed it. They still got it. Only thing I miss from the other show is the track since we’ve seen so many cars bench marked on it...be nice to see how much better the newer cars are in comparison. Haven’t watched the new Top Gear since the first reboot. 3 episodes I think I made.

I liked it. I imagine there will be some anti-Detroit-ruin-porn takes, but I thought it was a fun episode overall. I’m hoping the RV episode they teased will be good, seems like there’s a lot of promise, but they might also go too over the top with it.

Getting rid of Chris Evans definitely helped Top Gear, I felt the second season, with Joey in command, was a lot better. Who knows if it will take a step back with him leaving though.

I’ve seen bits, and while I didn’t dislike him (LeBlanc) he had some moments...but I just am not entertained. I’d watch and end up staring at the TV thinking about other stuff, just kinda dull. Strange given the content and how visually stunning some of the filming can be.
Evans was atrocious ...I fail to understand why his radio show is popular. The others, none of them are engaging enough, neither together or on their own. Rory is too big smile newscaster reading the teleprompter...trying too hard to be engaging and likable . Harris I never got. Again, I don’t dislike him, but I don’t enjoy his style. I can’t explain it other than to say he’s a bit too bull in a china shop for me. There’s something frantic about his presentation.
In the end it’s chemistry, and they don’t have it. Top Gear should have gone away for a few years until someone came up with a slightly different wrinkle on it...l ike Clarkson/Wilhelm did. More time was needed to find the right collection of presenters. May, Hammond and Clarkson worked because they are writers that happened to be very good at eloquent descriptive writing that happened to be spoken to a camera behind the wheel. They have unique personalities that somehow all came together perfectly but also remain interesting on their own . That is once in a lifetime chemistry. It couldn’t be duplicated and the current crew are tasked with the impossible trying to carry that torch.

It will be a step forward if Chris takes over.
