I can pop out to the garage and pull a drain plug, w ork for awhile then spin off the old filter. Then when I am attending a WebEx I don’t have anything particular to add I can spin on a new filter, fumoto valve and fill the oil.

Working from home is really the best of all worlds - I can get so much done both for work and household chores.

Work is my quiet time. Being at the hockey rink for my son five days a week there’s plenty of human interaction there!

Point taken. On second thought, you know what else can drive a person crazy? Having to deal with some people in the work force. :-)x

Been working from home for 10+ years now. Can confirm it is glorious. Not looking forward to my impending transition to office life.

i would not be able to work from home (asides from the fact im a sheetmetal worker and some of the machinery is bigger than my living room)

i’d never get anything done... hell most days i dont even get round to gaming or watching a movie coz im too distracted by silly youtube videos and trying to follow all the news and oppo

Absolutely, literally rolled out of bed and then attending a meeting a few seconds later.

Fair point - I wasn’t in the mindset of a continuous basis when I wrote that, but in my experience.  I generally work from home maybe a day a week.

I’m not sure I could work from home full time.

Yeah, this is the perfect amount for me. One day a week plus whenever I need to for like snow days or sick kids.

Same here - the flexibility work gives me is pretty awesome.

I work primarily from home and the battle between distraction and work objectives is a daily struggle.

It takes most people at least 3-6 months to get it down. I give any new hire on my team who is work from home a big leash for the first while.

Hmm, now that I think about it...hockey parents, or coworkers? At least at the rink, there’s beer. They frown on that at the office.

Just be careful; you probably want to be able to sit down.

I said working from home, not wanking from home lol. Came home early to get my 6 year old son off the bus, we’ll leave that part of working from home off the agenda today ...
