I have to sign an Arbitration Agreement & Class Action Waiver... Thank fuck I have a phone interview today because that is some straight up bullshit.

My favorite clause:

Except as provided herein, arbitration shall be the sole, exclusive, and final remedy with respect to Covered Claims. Except as otherwise required by law, neither you nor will be permitted to pursue court action regarding any Covered Claim and both you and
are waiving any right to a jury trial for any Covered Claim. This Agreement shall remain applicable even if you are no longer employed by at the time the procedures are utilized so long as the dispute is a Covered Claim.

Believe so, we have pretty fantastic health insurance which is the only nice thing this place does for us. You are correct, it’s time to move on because this shit isn’t cool.

More power to you if you can find an employer not making you sign such a thing. It is very common in my experience here in the US. I dislike it given the known outcomes of arbitration unevenly favoring employers. But that is why they require it, when they have the power to demand it.
