This morning I’m taking my Dad’s car back up north. No snow this time, which will make for a less interesting drive, but there should be some freezing fog further North. I imagine the truck will welcome stretching its legs, as I don’t think it’s gone over 30mph this past week.
The miat a cleans up well for an old car. I’m sure it’s ready to get back to its own garage and show off all its new parts

Is frozen fog just a wall of thin ice?

More like fog that starts leaving a frost build up on on the ground and objects.

I’ve been seeing a white GMC with New Mexico plates on my morning commute this week, and I gotta say, I really like your license plates. They’re a simple and clean design, but they really pop.

I’m quite fond of the turquoise one on my Forester. My other car is black and I’m going to put one of the chili pepper plates on it.

I’m still not totally sure what f rozen fog is but it is common enough up here that the weather has now started assigning levels it. The other day we had a “light” freezing fog.
There is also apparently heavy freezing fog and Justin plain freezing fog.

New Mexico does license plates well.

The centennial plate is my favorite of the current standard plates. Not that I won’t always have a soft spot for the classic yellow plates, but I’ve got a garage wall full of those from cars I’ve owned. I put a chi li plate on the truck, mostly because I haven’t had one before.

Interesting, I haven’t seen levels assigned to freezing fog around here. I wonder if it correlates to the density of the fog from a visibility perspective, or the rate at which it ices things.
