Oooh. Very cool. I like the DSM’s, and they’re getting very very hard to find clean examples of.

I feel like they are largely overlooked today and have potential to be future classics

Big presence in grassroot and professional racing

Movie presence for obvious reasons

Quick for their time and no slouches by modern standards

Re latively clean but unique lines

My uncle bought a 91 Talon new when I was 12 years old.. He was my hero- until I got older and realized he was recently divorced and going through a mid life crisis. Still the car was awesome.

the 4G63T is a great engine. I miss my Galant VR-4 on a regular basis. I really wouldn’t mind owning a DSM someday. Especially a Talon 1G with the flip ups.

So tunable, and so cheap (relatively speaking) to make decent power, definitely one of my favorite engines.

Owned a 99 Eclipse RS for a while when me and the wife were still dating. Thousands stuck into the motor/suspension/brakes. That 420A is quite impressive with some “work”, it was so fun walking GSX guys with my lowly little RS.
