I’m trying.

I am finding myself inexplicably stressed about this office move, and I really need to stop it. This is not normal for me. I typically run an even keel. But this growth is freaking me out.

So I am hanging out in the backyard with Toby, and Pumpkin is not impressed with my nonsense at all.

Time to stop whining. I hope the Pumpkin pics make up for my siliness.

Do you like the Smithereens?

I found this while packing up my office. It is a set list given to me by Pat DiNizio after a show on Treasure Island in San Francisco around ‘98 or so. My friend was playing bass in the band, and got me on the list, so I took my now-wife for our first date and hung out backstage after the show. I have told my wife many times that with a first date like that, all we could do was get married. Pat gave me the set list as a keepsake as we were leaving. RIP, Pat.

Growth is stressful, but you’ve got this! (My phone just wanted to type “TVR”.... that’s a sign.) it’s pretty clear you make thoughtful and  careful business decisions. That doesn’t always mean you’ll be right - although it’s a good start - but it means you make the best decision possible in a difficult and unpredictable world. That’s something to be proud of, and it’s so so unusual in bosses. Your employees, new and old, are very lucky to have such a person in charge.

As for Pumpkin, she clearly believes patience and quiet determination will slaughter her prey...errrr, win the day.
