This is good stuff... but it isn’t new wave, or even retro reference to new wave.

This is pretty much electronica with some 80's inspired graphics, and a slight bit of Jan Hammer ‘ Miami Vice’ electronic jazz mixed in to what otherwise sounds a lot like Daft Punk.

Much more computer generated and looped beats. New wave had it’s electronic elements and started to play with looped beats with synthesizers, but a lot of it was still melodic and harmonic pop music song structure, rather than soundtracking.
