I’m pretty sure they stopped selling the diesel in the US with the previous generation Trooper . Lots of those are still around in Colorado .

MPG doesn’t matter because ‘MERICA and also I won’t be driving my next car as much as in the past, maybe 5-7k miles per year.

This looks wrong. It looks like a one off, or even a photoshop. I know two door SUVs are common back then but it looks so weird on the trooper. Where as the Cherokee, Explorer/Navajo, Blazer, Pathfinder all pulled it off quite well.

I just realized why. That’s a normal 4 door front door. All the other two door SUVs used longer doors like a coupe. This can’t be factory.

I had a 95 rodeo with that drivetrain, it was a champ. My uncle also had that year trooper he passed down to ALL his kids. he bought it new in 94 and his oldest (of 4) couldn’t drive until 2000. it had like 350,000 miles before they called it. it served as a tow vehicle for their ski boat right to the end.

Wait. There are many 4 door versions of these on Craigslist at a good value. The back doors are convenient for tossing in a couple bags of groceries when it is raining. Like I said before do what is best for you.
