Follow-up: Sorry, should’ve provided the whole story the first time. I was definitely only charged for one, and I’ve already called Best Buy and arranged the return. If it ain’t mine, I don’t want it.

This happened to me on an order of 100 feet of 3/8" green ribbon. I ordered one roll and they sent 15. Fucking hell you got some cash right there. Put those on ebay or craigslist.

Happy days. Now you can either return the others or sell some on and recoup what you spent on the one.

If your going to keep them, maybe wise to sit on them for a while just in case someone notices or decides to charge you for them if you don’t return them.

I’d like to consider myself honest but I did once order a Wheel Woolies Air Vent B rush.

But the company sent me a set of the Wheel Woolies Wheel Brushes.

I didn’t send them back or let them know of the error, as I thought it’s a closing down sale anyway. But I did give them to a neighbour for free.

You, uh, do realize that if they deliver you extras you are under no obligation to return it, right? I mean yes it seems the ethical thing to do, but really, it isn’t. Nobody is missing their pre-order. And all of those copies are going to be written off and tossed in the bin. They have to be. It’s opened software. Even if you don’t break the seal. (Yes, it is the stupidest crap.)

Seems like a good idea, but Best Buy might tell you that it’s cheaper to do this from time to time than to pay people.
