I still don’t know how to build a car, but it was neat to see Newey’s thinking process. Having a bit of context about his personal life was interesting; his very focused approach kind of puts life in the periphery while you’re absorbed in your one true passion.
I wish I had that kind of focus; it wouldn’t be particularly harmful since I don’t have any relationships that it would ruin anyway.
Overall, it’s a good read as a big Formula One fan but probably a bit much for the casual fan.
