I know I’m not the only one who loves these things. There’s a 2DR manual Rav4 for sale on my local CL. and it’s pretty clean. ask 3,000 seems like a NP to me.

I’m just saying.... I have a friend with a totaled ST165 Celica All-Trac that would be an incredible bolt-in drivetrain donor for this.

Man, I saw one of these in a nice blue with not so great wheels a few weeks ago. They look so nice. If I lived up that way and my Golf blew up, I would try to snatch this up.

I remember trying one out back then...and thinking ‘this is smaller, similar ly featured (interior wise) and more expensive than my Diahatsu Charade...so that's a nope'. Then I bought a 1986 Lada Niva and was happy...for a short time.

To bad the Diahatsu and Lada aren’t even an option in the US.

Altho I did recently find a Diahatsu Rocky for sale.

I do love the X-90 because it’s insane but its also slow and tiny and I’d much rather actually own a manual RAV4 convertible like this one:

They want a bit much for it.  I’ve seen them pop up for under $5k now and then.  This one is in really nice shape though.

Id be fine with the tin top. Id make mounting a roof mount tent easier.
