There is a routine.
They have me well trained. There is a second breakfast shift covered by my son for the Chihuahuas and the other two cats (they sleep in), but I cover the early risers. My wife gets coffee in bed every morning, which I think has a lot to do with why she puts up with me. I wrecked her card table putting scooter parts on it. She doesn’t know yet. Shhh. I need to run the clock out on this one for a while.

It is a good routine. I think our Lulu might be trying to turn me into a morning person because of the extra time needed in the morning to take her outside. It is amazing to me any animals eat on a 2nd shift. All my pets have always been, “good
morning feed me!”
animals.

Car parts o n wife stuff... my dog wants to be alone in the kitchen when he eats, he also looks in the black oven glass reflection as a security mirror to make sure we are not encroaching on his eating territory. Sometimes I just have to be in there to get ready and I tell him to deal with it and he gives me dirty looks.

I know the routine thing well. It works out because I’m an early riser anyway, because the German Shepherd has a schedule to keep. By 7 at the very latest , a backyard visit and doggie breakfast must happen. The lab/putbull mix could care less. She’ll get up, go out and eat because we are, but left to her own devices she happily sleeps in.
