Why can’t Kia do a rebadge. Go with the KDM K or even sylize KIA to make it look modern. That KIA badge just looks so

Plus the fact that KIA is closely associated with “killed in action” in the US.
I still find it bizarre that people buy cars made by this company. *I’m still bitter about the POS Rio my GF owned in college.

Killed in action is a good one. Reminds me that my employee ID is 0187. So every time I plug it in to get gas I have to pull my best Ja Rule “ it’s murda"

I don’t think it looks bad on the modern Kias. On the other hand, I do think the K badge looks terrible; it always looks like a knock-off Lexus badge to me.
Kia could stand to do a Domino’s style “We’re not terrible anymore” type campaign, except for the fact that while their cars are no longer terrible, many of their dealers still are.

The problem is KIA let themselves become the bargain bin brand. The Ford oval is timeless because even while they were pumping out hot garbage they maintained the status quo with Mustangs and the GT. Sure, Kia’s modern lineup actually looks really nice but they have 30 years of hot garbage to cleanse from everyone’s memory. Unlike Ford there's no "ok yeah while xyz was garbage they also had lmnop which was awesome" Kia was a dumpster fire and their badge signifies dumpster fire.

That would require a lot of logistics that I am not prepared to do, like moving to the south, buying many camouflage clothing items, naming kids Bubba and Loulou, frying all my food, including salads, in lard, and putting gun racks in every room of the house, including the nursery, which is just a rusted out shed with a cardboard roof. That’s too much work for me.

This was a major contributing factor to the demise of Studebaker. They made a big statement after WW2 by being “first by far with a post war car” and they hit the ground running. The Loewy coupe was unlike anything else when it debuted in ‘53. But, they failed to keep up, had tons of quality issues, suffered a failed merger with Packard, and began marketing their cars as cheapo bargains. They became ‘90s Kia. I think the cars they were building by the time production ended in South Bend in 1964 were world class and gorgeous, but it couldn't save them. The damage was done.

Man, what happened to modern rap? Snoop and Dre went hard and when they talked about dropping someone you legit thought they would. Now it’s Lil’ this and lil’ that mumble rapping about Xanax and Instagram. I mean 6ix 9ine raps about dropping people but he looks like a damn Skittles bag and has some soft nonsense out with Minaj.
