I remember riding to youth orchestra with 4 in the back many times in one of these. Don’t remember if it was AWD but it was manual for sure.

Sure is. Mitsubishi never sold these under their own name in the US. They did sell the follow-ups, though, as the Expo and Expo LRV.

It is. ‘89 Colt Vista 4WD, alas, has the 4G61 or 4G15. The one to get is an ‘88 with the 4G37 since you’ll never find a Colt Turbo (4x4 with a 4G61T.)
