had a bunch of green stuffs in the fridge that needed using... so popped over to the shop bought some prawns n shrimp and made iffits (iffits in the fridge)
lightly salted baby potatos with green beans, soy beans, leek, paksoi, paprika, spring onions, prawns and shrimp.
garlic sauce on the side.
fridge empty of perishables now
meeshon compreet.

fair enough tbh i dont trust my supermarkets fishy section enough to not at least heat them through (now the fishmongers fishyies are a different story but couldnt be arsed to go there today)
but iffits is just my way of clearing out the leftover bits n bobs in the fridge before they go off and i have to throw them out (i hate doing that) its usually pretty tasty
but probably not something i’d make for guests as its sometimes a pretty odd combination of foods

I love prawns directly out of the packet or a big bowl of prawn cocktail.
Oh mammy.
I keep buying food and getting distracted by something else or lose enthusiasm for cooking and end up binning it. I ended up binning some wagyu burgers the other day along with some marinaded pork loin steaks. Doh.

ouch poor burgers and steaks... but yeah im the same buy stuff end up wanting something else that day.... stuff gets neglected and goes off.... and thats why i make iffits now... if for no other reason than it saves me some money
