It could use a half-divider between the cab and the “bed”, but it seems pretty good otherwise. It reminds me a bit of an Isuzu Rodeo.
The 350 fits fairly easily in the S-10 Blazer, right?

I believe ASC made a dealer-install kit to turn these into convertibles. I’ve seen a claim without any evidence that something like 1500 were made. There was a Jimmy like this in some 1980's TV series called Riptide that I’ve never seen. Supposedly it’s one of the ASC ones. Oh and yeah the SBC fits in these pretty easily.

Also this:
No idea how authentic this is. Only image I could find on the web. It seems like a photo of an old brochure , but I guess it could be a Photoshop.

Sweeeeeeeeet.
Yeah, 350's are an easy swap. Especially if you start with one that has a 4.3 V6, because the 4.3 is quite literally a 350 with two cylinders sectioned out. All the bolt holes are in the same place, all the assessories are exactly the same.

ASC had their hand in pretty much everything in the ‘80s, didn’t they? Neat find, especially if its real!

Good to know. I keep seeing Rangers and S-10s with V8s swapped at the local cruise night, and I can’t help but think that I’d need to do that if I ever picked up one of those
. It just seems right.

350 fits great but you can’t keep A/C. Not enough physical room for the condenser, sadly. I think it might be possible with a pusher electric fan but IDK.
