Are you as negative about it as everyone else?

I had one as a rental in Florida and I didn’t hate it. It was one of the best rental cars I’ve ever had, because I usually get something like a Chrysler 200, or Nissan Versa Note CVT (in Montana - maybe I would have been OK with that car in a city).

We used our CLA to launch a boat. Not like you’d think, but to pull a rope through a pulley system that pulled a boat off a floating lift. It was supposed to have a winch, but that was broken. All you needed was a tug stronger than a human. Enter the CLA with its tow ring and a nice bowline knot!

But I digress. What do you think of it?

If a little old lady came up to you and asked you what “ CLA” stands for, what is the most offensive acronym you can come up with to make her hit you with her purse?

Also, everyone likes to shit on the CLA, but is it a good car for its price class, or is everything else in that range better?

It’s okay. For a Mercedes it’s lacking but in comparison to a lot of other compact cars it’s leagues beyond a lot of others.
